Hi,

Getting a bit sick of my standard cassette unit in the car and wouldn't mind having the factory option Blaupunkt CD43 radio alternative in there instead. I've tried using one of those cassette adaptor things to plug my phone in, but every time I go over a bump, it goes off.

I know that these are generally fairly readily available as non branded/Rover branded units, but I'd like to have the proper Mini unit for the original look.

Anyone with a late car upgraded their radio who has a good condition unit with all the screw covers etc?

Thanks

Jacob

I've got a Rover one spare if it's any good to you.

Doesn't have screw covers and needs decoding, got one with a code but it's spoken for!

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. The Rover branded ones seem fairly readily available - I was looking to hold out for a Mini branded one really. Probably sounds daft, but I do like to keep things factory where I can. Assume yours is Rover branded from what you said?

Thanks again

Jacob

Don't think they fitted these units to the BMW Mini. If you look at the logo on it, you can tell that it's the proper, original Mini logo.
