Nice! I done exactly this the other week but with a Renault 21 Savanna. Always wanted one because my dad had one yearrrsss ago when i was young. Uber rare sight nowadays so i hit the buy it now! Supposed to be less than 100 on the uk roads and only 16 of this model (RT)

just sold my renault 19 16 v today, again kinda sad, but i never used it just sat on the drive rotting to be honest new owner a nice lady from kent says she will use it every day i hope so

Oh. Yeah. Engine is in and wired up. Need to sort fuel lines this weekend. Done a bit of buying bits and pieces. Little bit of bodywork done. Slowly coming together now

I've been looking into suspension options. Pretty limited for bolt on parts, so I'm opting for a pair of Escort MK1 turrets welded into the rear arches, then a set of MK1 golf rear coilovers, like so:
