Hi, finally made it back onto forums and into the mini scene, have been a bit distant from it the last few years while at uni. Used to frequent the miniclassic forums before uni work took over my life :D

I own a 79 Austin minivan in the midst of a restoration, is on wheels at the moment and fully sprayed, but needs a fair bit doing to it still. Thats the plan now since uni's all done and dusted.
Here she is, was taken 2 yrs ago and has been locked up since then awaiting time and money to do anything ;)

Am on the hunt for a company reasonably locally to me (mid-somerset) that can do the majority of the required work left (brakes, fitting engine etc) as I dont have the know-how. Would be eternally greatful if somebody could suggest or point me in the right direction of a reliable and knowledgeable company. As near as possible would be best, but dont mind trailering it a sensible distance if the outcome is worthwhile!

Thanks guys, look forward to getting to some shows etc once the vans going! Could do with joining a local club then too if anybody has suggestions

Cheers
Matt

Welcome to the Forum. Really Really nice body and a really good colour, post some more pictures when you get it completed. I'm originally from Somerset myself (Taunton), but don't know any mini specialists round there I'm afraid, but good luck with getting it finished.
