I agree a local tuner and someone who is happy to work on your type of engine is important. I once went to a tuner who had no interest in my car and it showed in their attitude to do a good job. I had little choice but use them as it was a weber ECU which has limited tuners in the country. Hence I would never recommend weber, plus they won't give you the software to tune it yourself.

I guess the next step is talk to a tuner who's good with Redtops (and fairly local) to see what their preferences are.

No point buying an ECU that nobody local will map. I guess as the Redtops are such a commonly tuned engine, most tuners will be happy to deal with them...or I hope so anyway!

 

 

so that's chris at efi then. he's a pain to get hold of though, you'll need to email him. if you do say that car who does the clios put you on to him. any problems getting hold of him let me know, i'm up there again soon so will let him know you may be in touch. 

 

obviously speak to other people if you want but you get no attitude or ego with chris and his rolling road doesn't bump power figures up.
