I use 0.8 as I also weld thin and thicker stuff plate stuff

0.6mm mild steel for me with a 9L Hobbyweld 5% bottle. Ive had the bottle about 12 months now and still havent finished. Its a very useful size if you dont need a big BOC bottle.

as per above, 0.6mm on 0.6mm tip. Co2 / Argon hobbeyweld mix.
