David means do you have a gap between the floor mounts (5 point holes) and the floor. We both had subframes which had a 12mm gap when fitted!

Is that the engine you bought from me??!!

it is mate decided to build full car
and you must be talking about the front subframe, what i did was leave the top bolts loose till i drilled the bottom and secured them first plenty of grease on the top ones and tighten them up
it would have had a 12mm gap with just the top secured

They have probably remove the picture uploader temporarily whilst they sort the virus problems as that is how it may have got into the server in the first place but im sure they will replace it when everything calm down,
In the meantime just host your photos on image shack or photobucket and paste the link into your posts.
Dead easy............

:w00t: now that i know how to post more pics heres an update most of the metal parts off the doner were plated niklechromate or something like that just finishes the job i think. i bought some alloy tubing and silicone hoses the silicone is very pricey so the elbows and long sections are made of alloy which i tig welded together you can buy these as a kit from zcars but this way ads to the fun of the buildPosted Image

What radiator are you using? The hoses are going to the wrong side ??? But i can accept correction as Chris may have changed the spec lately???

When is the monte due to be finished or is chris just doing the fabrication and your assembling it?

Whats your budget for each build if you dont mind me askin???

Cheers
