A new arrival to the family of minis belonging to junglecommini and favminigirl!

We collect her on sunday at SMD and she's beautiful! She is junglecomminis new daily drive after the subreau (RB5) had to make way for an everyday mini once again in his life! and his heart was set on a 35th!

She's was imported from japan in feb this year so has slighty different spec than the british edition even tho she was made in the same factory! AIR CON in a min woohoo!!!

Very nice find.

Someone's nicked the cool little sticker that should be above the fuel cap though. It says 'Unleaded Only, 95 RON' but in Japanese. Very cool.

Nice car, you'll have to tell us if the factroy air is any good.

well it certainly is a lovely mini and worth every mile of the 460 mile round trip on sunday to sort it all out just glad we took the company focus

from what we tried of the air con so far i was amazingly suprised how good it actually was! was kinda expecting a half hearted effort if that makes sense?

I'm jealous of that car, I want it (but I have Nobby)...it would be cool to have a Jap spec Mini though

Well i know the japanese government have a law in which cars from a certain date have to have air conditioning, sounds silly i know but its due to climate, without aircon rover wouldn't have been able to sell them in japan.

Never knew you could get air con'd minis or is it something that only the japanese spec minis come with??

I believe its only Jap spec, although some other countries may have got them (South Africa, etc)?

the are several different bits on the spec that are different, there is even a bracket next to the hand barake that they have to carry a flare in!

A very nice find indeed....always wanted a 35th!! Hmmm....Almond Green!!!

One thing to point out is that it has non factory wheels on it, it should have black with silver edge minilites on it as per the Monte Carlo.

Air con was unfortunately not installed in UK minis but you can buy the dashboards with all the controls but no unit in the UK, I had one in my 30 when I bought it.
