Silly question time, I borrowed a Tork Wrench and have just tweeked my Rear Hub Nuts (60lb ft).
Manual says to torque to nearest split pin hole, I had to slight slacken one off to achieve this - is that OK?
The Torque Wrench was kind of acting up on one side where it tightens to the left the Torque Wrench would not click off, when I went to undo it then it clicked so it was probably over tightened??
Last question, (silly question time) which way around are the pins supposed to go, like this, so that the pin pulls out:
Or like this, so the pin legs wrap around the circumference of the nut:
The wheels are Smith UK by the way and only temporary to roll the car around on, I was advised on here that they are only rated for trailers.
