ill chech that 2 murow as i did change the distributor at the same time and all the HT leads

lol :w00t: sorry for that if you had said that in the first place you need to time it up and did you check the points were set right the best thing to do is to get some one that knows what there doing to get it running again or get some one to turn the engine over and you turn the dizzy from left to right very slowly and it should start

OK thats more than likely the problem i just put the cap on and left it so i guess that would be the problem, thnaks ill check 2murow. thanks

also check the leads are on the right way the haynes manual cover this so have a good read

I know i have got the leads on the right way i checked that but i didnt know about lining up the dizzy cap

but thinking about it i should have realised that i should have had to.

yes if you just change the cap it should line it self up just check everything you done and check the leads are in the right places and take it from there

ok then all i did was change the oil, oil filer, HT leads and dizzy cap. ill check them all over and see if i can find a fauly but it seems strange that it started up at first and wount now

Its all fixed now there was a problem with the timing of the rockers. :w00t:

Yea :w00t::D ill be selling it soon its booked for MOT on thursday then it will be up for sale soon after that
