Hi this is my first post so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place. My question is does anyone know where I can source a headlining kit for a mini with a webasto rag top sunroof i will provide a picture to show you the sunroof. I cannot seem to find a kit anywhere. Thank you.

From what I understand you have to use a standard headlining and cut it to fit. I haven't actually done this personally, but that's the advice I was given by someone who has.

as above. I have a manual one fitted in the 80's and it was a generic sunroof that fitted a number of small cars, hence why there was no standard headlining. I am about to replace my headlining and have an old vinyl one i will put in place, then cut to suit.

have a look here - this is how the webastos were originally fitted

shows how the cars original headlining was modified.  I think i also asked optimised automotive if they did a kit, but i think they said they didnt

Okay guys I'm now stuck again. Following the instructions from the Webasto guide, if i cut out the centre leaving enough material to wrap around the frame then surely I'm not going to have enough left for underneath the vinyl under the actual sunroof?

"Cut out centre section of headlining, leaving enough material to turn round the frame. Apply adhesive to the frame and headlining. When a foam-backed nylon headlining is used, it is not necessary to apply adhesive to it: adhesive on the frame is sufficient."
