I agree, definitely worth saving! I'm going to see if I can get some photos of the interior and maybe under the bonnet. Will put the pictures up if I get them.

At least being in Spain the climate should mean it has less serious rust issues than a long lost UK Mini !

Not really relevant to the OPs mini but, here's an earlier Mk2 Authi as featured on a Spanish phonecard.

Nice find by the way, well worth saving!

Well I have been counting the days until my uncle went back to Spain so I could badger him to take some more photos, and finally I have some!!! Looking at some of the photos posted up on here it does look like it could be an Authi Mini Cooper? Next step is going to be finding the owner if you guys agree, where to start with that I have no clue!

I would love that to restore .... The innocenti dash is awesome ..... Get it restore it.... :0).... You would probably need to find out who owns the land it's in and take it from there .... Hopefully the owner thinks it's just an old junk of a mini and pays you to take it ..:0).... I spy the Hole on the left seat for a headrest .....if you do get the car you just keep the interior as is apart from a clean and restore the seats

Cheers james

That is an Authi Cooper finished in in Verde Competicion (Racing Green). Looks like it had the optional rear wiper fitted when new.

If its been parked like that for many years it probably won't have much floor left. :ohno:

Does anybody have any idea how much one of these would be worth after restored to a high spec?

Closest I could find out there was this 1972 authi 1000 http://m.preloved.co...-mini-1000.html it has had a full restoration but it's not a Cooper so I would imagine a Cooper would be worth more. They're asking for ~£10k but that doesn't necessarily mean that's what it's worth. I reckon keep it anyway. I think they were only produced for a couple of years so there can't be too many out there. It'd be really cool to have something different like that. Hopefully the land owner will let you have it.

It will probably be worth as much as someone is willing to pay on the day of sale.

I could be wrong but there are a few things missing, like the vinyl roof, and the original wheels, also I don't know whether there should be a second badge in the middle of the boot, so maybe it's had a fair bit of work done. I imagine with a mini like this, missing some of its original features will reduce the price a fair bit?
