I've changed the seals on them before but am sure they still leak slightly. I was thinking of sealing them up!

Just seems like the cr@ppy closing catch doesn't pull the window in enough. Also i've had two catches break on windows before! They're not exactly the strongest. Luckily i managed to pick up a rear window from Southern Mini Days for 3 quid!

Mine are not too bad unless it rains very hard and then thereis some seepage, but like Bungle says, mine arent hosepipe proof. After washing mine I always open the rear windows to allow any sitting water to drain out and also chammy the sills where the windows sit.

Yeah they don't leak too bad unless it hammers it down but they let in water when i wash it. Water normally sits around the seal and body.

I don't like opening the windows incase another catch breaks off the window!

if you really don't like them just replace them with fixed "city" class. it's mush better if you want to avoid leaks at all costs.

i'm sure there loads of people out there who would want to swap.

They are a terrible rust trap at best even if they don't leak.

The latch is a bit adjustable, slacken the two screws a bit and slide the base away from the window slightly (really slightly, too much and it just bends things). Play with it a few times and you should get nice tight windows.

Mine don't leak, stay open and close properly, but they door rust at the bottom were water gets trapped under the seal, just like the doorsteps do.
As once the water has collected, there is no were it can drain or run off to.
