I have fuel getting into my vacuum pipe. I just disconnected the pipe from the end that connects to the megajolt (the end that would normally connect to the dizzy) and fuel ran out. Why would there be fuel in the vacuum pipe?

when the engine is stopped , the vacuum is replaced with air / fuel mix from the manifold , at atmospheric pressure

the fuel drops out of the mix & accumulates at the lowest point

there will also be some condensation as well

you could get a device - a chamber with a diaphragm in the centre , which stops the moisture , but maintains a vacuum

but I can't remember the name

some diaphragms are damaged by fuel vapour - vac advance units are prone to this sometimes

it's called a vapour trap http://www.ebay.co.u...=item464132a6a1

May be best to mount the megajolt higher and put a loop in the vacuum pipe
