Its still worth a try though whats the worse could happen parts get replaced everytime!!!!

Don't take offense.

Changing parts that are not defective clouds and corrupts the troubleshooting process.  Never change more than one thing at a time.  When you change more than one thing at a time and a problem surfaces, you don't know the source of the problem.

In this case, the problem is not the ignition system so changing components there will not get the engine to turn over.  What it will do is cause someone to spend money that they do not need to.

Check for faulty solenoid before buying new: bridge the beefy contacts with a big screwdriver or similar. If the engine still doesn't crank properly (fully charged battery) it's not likely the solenoid at fault.

Only a systematic step by step search and testing will work properly before starting to buy spares..

If you still have a standard battery, did you check the acid content /water ?

What about the earth points? Clean and nor corrosion. Engine earth ok?

You need to check the battery voltage and charge it if its not 12,65v (100% fully charged) after standing overnight, then charge it fully, once you have confirmed the battery is ok only then do you do a check on the charging system, your looking for the voltage to be across the terminals 14.3v maximum and a minimum of 13.7v, if you cant make those voltages then the alternator is suspect. Do the tests and report back
