Evening all. Well, I was working may way across all of the open tabs on my computer and realised that I hadn't introduced myself (or our Mini!) My name's Pete and if this was an AA type group my problem would be having too many cars! Alongside most of my car (internet) pals, the 5 (6 if you count a VW van shell that I bought to make a trailer out of) at our disposal probably isn't all that much, but trying to keep them all on the road? Well that's another matter. So what are they? Golf and Mercedes moderns (which you're probably not interested in!) and then the classics.....
First up, my 1980 VW T3 Doppel Kabbiner, or pickup if you prefer.

A 5 year slog that saw a lot of welding, 2.5 litre Subaru engine and a fresh rollered paint job.
Then there's our Escort. A reshelled Mk2 RS2000 running a 2.1 stage 3 Burton race engine (which is currently in bits) that we bought about 5 years ago and was built about 10 years before that. It's immaculate, and when it's on the road gets thrashed as often as possible (not on track, too nice..... That may change this year though!)

And then there's the Mini, a 93 Italian Job in White. Apparently pretty rare now, so it'll be staying fairly original with a few choice upgrades! Now, I know nothing about Mini's and this is my first, so I'll be asking lots of bone questions over the coming months, but a few tasters before I knuckle down and write up a full thread (although it'll be a straight cut and paste job from the Retro Rides forum where I spend way too much time!)

I've stripped the front subframe and slowly working my way through whilst still working on the other 2! Good job I have plenty of time on my hands!!
