Im pretty new to the forum although i have had my mini about 2 1/2 years ,I have pretty much restored the car it just needs paint but i have now decided i want to go vtec conversion build, Just looking for some positive feed back and heads up on any glitches and set backs on the vtec build if possible.
Going to go for the Allspeed subfame, b16a engine, mini tec wiring loom as im not the best with wiring.
Unsure on fueling . Either mpi tank or walpro pump ? Also unsure on shafts and suggestions and positive feed back be great.

UPDATE! Build took a bit of change in direction today after a 500 mile trip. Basically for the price I couldn't leave it there. Picked up a Watson subframe, drive shafts bought off Watson for £330(never used with receipts),   B18c4 engine with s9b box, full wiring loom with a p28 ECU and a janspeed exhaust manifold all for under 1K :D  Pictures to follow !

Good job!! The s9b box has some good ratio's in it if you dont have the money for a watsons final drive!

What im saying is, on 12 or 13" wheels is the final drive really needed? Is it just 10" that require diff final drive ratio?

Even on 12 or 13 inch wheels people still use a Watson final drive.
