I have been offered a set of twin weber 45 dcoe carbs for free for my 998 mini.
Can I use them and will it hurt my insurance alot if I do baring in mind I will be a new driver in June when I pass my test?

it would push up the price of the premium as it is a performance modification, Also, i believe a 45 weber is way to big for a 998.

Get them, flog em on ebay!!
Their too much for your 998, but someone with a really tricked up 1275 or bigger will find these usful!

You only use half of each one in a twin webber set up. You have to butcher them and plug off fuel passages.
One webber 45 on a 998 is way too much, maybe a full race 8,500rpm screamer.

Fair enough. Cheers for advice.
I will not fit them then,shame really because they are in really good condition but my dad will keep them for his project mini he is getting soon so he says
