Come on then people! Since i could not attend due to an act of God (or rather me being a bit heavy with the wheel brace) :D :w00t:

Give all us unfortunates who could not attend a heads up, pictures would be cool.

Cheers, Sheepo

Are the attachments working again yet?
OK, here's Huey in the Sin Bin (the car park they send all minis who try to blag their way in without a pass!)
Actually it was in a nice spot away from the madding crowd and easy to get out from.
It was great to meet old friends, a nice surprise to meet people from even further back and only sorry to have missed all those other elusive tmf'ers!

:D :w00t: Mrs Teapot didn't quite get out of the way in time!
I didn't take many pictures because to be honest I've got three other years of MITP favourites and although it's nice to see them all again in the metal I don't need more photos. But I did spot this in the pink zone

TC, Jake, Stig, Tipcat, Ryan, Minipixi and Co will no doubt have lots more to add

Heres my report then...
Arrived at about 1:30, and found dogmatix. pitched camp (parked my car up!) and had a bit of a chatter with him and bean, his new lady. They gave me a lift into some posh local town where we found a waitrose. Apparently posh oxfordites dont eat cheap weekend food suitable for mini events, so we came away with a crate of carling and some pasties. Back at the campsite minibullet, mowog and clubbymeup had arrived so we set up the little TMF area. we were the only ones there though as everyone else was with their clubs I think. After attempting to have a bit of a bbq, dodging the rain we went for a wander. we found miniman pie, pandora, ed4ran, rian, bunnykin and a load more tmfers up at central minis. Dogmatix went to see his fellow welshies at m4 minis and kind of took over their tent... I returned to base to load up on more beer and me and adam (clubbymeup) had a walk round, somehow avoiding the guy ropes. In the end things seemed to die down around 12:30 so I climbed into my bed for the night - a cobra classic. In the end I got more sleep than the others, and I was dry :D Today me, dog and bean somehow avoided paying any entry fees through a *male chicken* up from the marshalls and proceeded to have a good wander through the stalls. There wasnt a great deal of good stuff for sale, most of it was tat. Some very nice cars about though. halfway through the day we found Pikey7, and a bit later on TWICEmonkey. Watched the autotest for a bit and went home.
The End

Bad Bits:- The dog threw up in the car 5 mins away from the gate, luckily (for me) she was in Pimp1's car as we had no room in ours!!!, the weather last night was awfull, the tent leaked but it didnt seem to dampen peolpes spirits, the very bright spotlights that we didnt notice when we pitched up but shone very brightly on our tent, and the very loud rude bunch not far from us who were excessivly loud till two this morning!!

Good Bits:- By 9 this morning it had just about stopped raining, the great turn out of cars on display, great trade and auto jumble and the Autotest. Well done to the guy in the red mini who had the winning time (when we left) of 38.55, I managed a 39.42, creased a wing, took alot of tread off the tyres that were scraping on the arches and probably had the most spectacular "off" of the day!!!

Had a great day, seemed to be a lot bigger than last year - loads of great cars, and a few bargains to be had in the autojumble too ;D

Actually I think that was the weakest Mini In The Park I've been to and I've been to nearly all of them. There were very few traders and a very small auto jumble. Loads of clubs though. Don't really think it was worth the £15.00 (I know I could have only paid a tenner but I didn't decide to go 'till last night, I always used to get into this for free so booking in advance doesn't occur to me!). As usual there were the helicopter rides, auto test, rolling road and junk but this was always meant to be the biggest show of the year and frankly it was a bit lame this time.

Apparently posh oxfordites dont eat cheap weekend food

There's a little Happy Shopper type local supermarket in Charlbury itself mate, just round the corner from the show.

tis dogmatix's fault, I blame the tomtom ;D all the shows i've been to this year havent been particularly impressive for autojumbles, this one was no different. maybe ebay is killing it off?

I didnt think it was as good as it was last year either perhaps it was the weather or something. it was ok and there where some very nice minis. But the shops and autojumble wasnt great.
