[mk3 Cooper S]

I feel a bit mean to critique as it is a nice car but it is top of the shop money so this may help?:

 

Incorrect items:

 

Fan Colour

washer bottle

Brake master cyl (Is it as S type?) I presume you are running drums?

Solenoid type and posn

Oil pressure pipe

fuel filter (change the pos or use a more period type)

Alternator - This is probably a good thing in reality of use ? but non std.

Coil colour and bracket

Non std electrical crimp connectors

Generally clean the bulkhead, block and touch up the dizzy vac advance.

Thanks will post look into some of the above. Some parts listed I see as upgrade but I know like your will see them as non standard I appreciate your input.

As MK 3 Cooper S said plus

 

Air intake trunking - these do a very good replacement hose https://www.catmint....e=index&cPath=4 I suppose you could try and paint yours or wrap it in black tape

Wiper motor - the top section should be natural metal finish

Starter solenoid - the position is OK but it should be a Lucas 2ST - there are various 2ST's, the correct Mini part number is 76464.

Coil bracket - you can cut out the internal part of an type original coil bracket to mount it on an alternator in the same way as it would have been mounted on a dynamo

Bulkhead soundproofing - Mini Spares etc. sell the correct style mat (part number 24A 280) with all the cut outs done for you and it will make the car much quieter inside as a bonus.

Washer bottle - it should not have a Tudor decal on it.
