to grease the subframe and what not do i use a grease gun and if so where do i get one???

How about you wait more than 45 minutes for a reply!

Have a search for 'grease nipples'. Grease guns can be bought from any automotive store, Halfrauds, motor factors, etc, as well as the Lithium based grease they'll use.

i work in halfruads and we dont do them!!?? i cant find them anywhere.

I bought mine from halfords. There was actually quite a choice with different makes and capacities.

yeah grab a grease gun fill it with grease. then get a little screw driver and a rag along with some wd40. spary a little wd40 on the grease nipple. poke the ball with the screwdriver to loosen it. then wipe it with the rag. stick the gun and and pump.

Get a flexible extension as well, very useful on a mini, especially for doing the rear radius arms if if you have sportspack arches.

They do sell them and the refill cartages of grease, as I’ve just bought one a few weeks back as my previous ones broke.

Oh what a surprise, a Halfords employee who has no idea what they stock or how to use it . I bet you've been trained how to charge me twenty quid to change my wiper blades though .

WD40 is a solvent, it washes out grease. Its not the best idea to get oil near any parts that are meant to be greased as oils disolve and dilute greases. The nipple shouldn't need lubing up, so long as it's clean. I'd agree with knocking the ball about to free it up sometimes though.

Go for a big gun Davex, the little trigger ones you sell are pants, plus try getting it into the front upper arm, a mare.
You should find it next to the grease and oils, was there last time I looked.

My local halfords had a small, all metal gun that is called a one handed grease gun or something like that. It was only £9.99.

I dont have a flexi hose for it but it can reach all my nipples fine.

yeah taxi for me. we do sell grease guns. i am but a fool and i have just proved this.
