afternoon all, i've recently acquired my first mini, an azure blue 1986 mini mayfair! as yet un-named but definately a male. got some pretty big plans for him, to include a full bare shell respray in a classic motorsport livery, thinking "gulf racing" like the black bird powered mini i've seen. Aswell as building a roaring 1293 powerplant! To date i've put some of the mini sport "monte carlo" arches on, dropped a shiny new headunit inplace of the wireless, replaced all the mounts and stabiliser bushes, nearly got sectioned before succesfuly changing the by-pass hose, done a lot of tidying up rust but saving the welding for respray time! the mot tester was quite sympathetic rear jewels, front angels, iced the indicators! no wheels yet, though as soon as my friend works out how to move his unmovable mini i'll have em on! 6x12 supalites! there's more but it all starts to get a bit mundane...
