I've done it on an America (the North American 2-door 1100 variant that probably goes by something else in GB.)

 

Morris 1100 or Morris 1300 is what I have always known it as in the UK  or 1300 GT

I used to do it on my old Cortina Mk.1 rally cars and it took about 40 minutes, or less with 3 people doing the job ;D .

That is one reason why the Fords were so popular in competition back then. I've seen the 'works' Ford mechanics do an Escort in 18 minutes during a rally and we were away again with no time penalties. If the diff started to fail in a Cooper 'S' you were out of the event.

I do have bolts, not studs, gearbox was recently done everything looked good. easier than that dang lower radiator hose.

lower rad hose is simple. Fit it to the rad first.

good point, this the 1st and only mini I have ever worked on, I could then add a petcock to it as it does not have one. Lots of good info to be had here, also added an AFR gauge to work on tuning as we have no rolling roads available let alone people who have experience tuning these motors.
