Another for Halfords Pro. I've got quite a lot of hand tools from them (1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" drive sockets and ratchets, spanners/ratchet spanners, screw drivers, pliers/snips etc..etc..) and I've broken a few as well, never had an issue with replacements and never needed the receipt. I've also had a few jacks from them over the years but I'll probably not bother with another. My rapid/high lift jack, while it's lasted ~7 years, started to get tired quite quickly.
For powertools, I'm seeing more and more of the battery powered Ryobi tools. That you can now get good battery powered grinders and impact guns that use a shared charging system is very appealing.
For air tools, I've only got a few and I've never spent much money on them as they don't get used a lot. I think my air ratchet was £15 from Screwfix. The exception was my spray gun which I think was ~£50 (still a cheap gun though).
