I use a bleed valve to adjust my boost pressure...

Set your gearbox ratio to give you about 55 to 60mph at 7500 rpm in 1st, use Johns calculator on his website

http://www.guess-wor.../Tech/ratio.htm

******** NOTE :

7500rpm is just a number used as a base point, you would need to do some serious work to get it to rev that high, not impossible but you would need to choose your parts carefully and spend your money wisely, ie Omega pistons or better as they are very much lighter than the cheapo's and will stand a bit of pre-ignition should you choose to use a distributor that has the wrong advance curve, ECU is the best option for power and reliability.

*********

As you will have the torque to pull away in first on tickover with a decent 1380 but will maintain traction as it hits max torque ie when it has maximum acceleration it will be accelerating and not just burning tyres...

and the standard Metro turbo which weighed more than a Mini had a 3.11:1 final drive as standard with only 93bhp.

so pulling a similar FDR or higher will not be an issue.

Ok thanks ill have a look into that website an see what i can do, not lookin for anythink to mad with power as i dont want to kill myslef straight away, lol. Hence not to hav the t3, But i do want something vibrant and lively!
ECU...? Would you surgest a mega jolt then to control the timing...? Or would you surgest both timing an EFI...? Is the price worth the power gains...? And what are the advantages? Or can these system be made using parts like single or double motor bike carb, an make an ECU along with it as is that not essentialy the same as the EFI kits? As the idea of a EFI mini is quite exciting.

to be honest the gt17 probably has more power potential than the T3,

I like EFI, but it is a bit of a pain for the mini due to the 5 port head, you can do it as an SPI/ throttle body setup, but you need top be aware that the inners will be a different mixture ratio than the outers and run it richer to compensate.
