+1. What rockers and springs are you using. What run in procedure did you follow?

Even the cam itself is worn, I do not mean the lobes etc, where the cam runs in the cam bearings, it looks worn, was any oil getting to the camshaft area?

Replace the cam and obviously replace the followers at the same time.  If you were using high-lift rockers and/or heavier springs, go back to stock springs and rocker arms.

On initial startup, make sure you have applied assembly lube with moly in it.  The startup oil should also be rich in ZDDP.  After the break in period, the oil should at least have a modest level of ZDDP which can be achieved with supplements/additives if it is not already in the oil you buy.

Scrap, use moly lube on the lobes for first start. Check valvespring poundage.

Thanks for all the replies, I'm using double valve springs and 1.5 ratio cast rockers and north Wes mini centre re built the engine for me since when I built the engine a bearing went, when I built it I used plenty of cam lube, I expect north went mini center would have done the same and ran it in right

And also how would I check cam oil supply? The cam journals and bearings are fine I think it's just the pic

have the cam bearings moved ? - ie holes not quite lining up ,

because that looks to have been running dry-ish

looks bad for 1000 miles

IMO, even if the Cam wasn't run it you wouldn't see that in 1000 miles. I actually suspect the post grinding hardening wasn't done or wasn't done right.

By the way, the Cam Lobes are splash lubricated from Oil thrown off the Big Ends.

<Edit: Or it was a as a used worn Cam that was fitted >

OP mentions 1 sheared pushrod and others bent...

I would suggest checking for valve springs getting coil bound or something similar not right. That would seriously knacker the cam in short order.
