I have the 3/8" drive version which obviously is no good for the CV nut, but am very happy with it.

My torque wrench only goes to 150lb/ft but I have tightened driveshaft nuts by doing up to 100lb/ft then 150lb/ft, measured the angle between the two readings then used a long breaker bar to tighten the same amount of angle again, never been a problem in about 6 years and the car is driven hard. Not a mini but similar application.
But if I wanted a torque wrench I would look at the range at machinemart like link below

Just had another look and this item looks good value

Got one on order :)
While you're all here : does anyone know the reason the later cv joints use a (much) higher torque figure?
I'd expect it to be the other way round (more initial torque for the multiple hole cv joint because you wont have to torque it much more to get to the next hole)

Cheers

They found that the wheel bearings, particularly with the 8.4" Brakes, needed tighter clamping, so a higher grade CV was spec'd and I've found since going over to these latest CV wheel bearing life has increased considerably.
