Anyone know where the best place to get a burette to measure the volume of my cylinder head chambers is?

you just want to know what your comressions are like, then get a compression tester from local motor factors, this will be OK.

but if you want to know the volume then you need to measure the bores the stroke of the pistons, and use a formula which at the presant i aint got.

Get a small child to half inch one from the science lab at school.

I got a load of em from RS through work. But I found that a syringe was better than a pipette.

I'm building a 1330 and I have a second hand Bill Richards Racing stage 3 head. I know what the dish of the pistons, capacity of the block above the pistons, compressed volume of the gasket are but I need to find the volume of the head chambers so I can get the block or head skimmed to give me the correct compression ratio.

I have some syringes but they are all in ml! I can't seem 2 find anywhere local or on the net that does one in cc's

Hang on, i've just read that ml are the same as cc's, is that true

Most certainly, 1000ml = 1 litre, 1000cc = 1 litre.

So they are equivalent.
