We are currently making up a selection of water bottles in aluminium for those that like a bit of shine in the engine bay. We are looking at making up the MK1 inner wing mounted bottles, Mk2 large capacity bulkhead mounted bottles, and possibly looking into the later type with built in pump too.

Here is the MK2 version currently in progress, any feedback suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

The mount bracket is still to be fabricated at this stage.

Thats awesome!  The only thing I would add to ikmprove it is a level tube like you often get on alloy tanks.  Just a 90° feed off the side down into another 90° feed at the bottom with clear pipe in between.  Makes checking the fluid level easier :)

Mini 360, thats my thought too but most fittings ive seen are quite bulky and look a bit naff with those blue fittings.. i wish there was a way to put like a small window in the bottle itself.

I did a bit of google looking for one of these before contacting Matt, and its very rare to find one with a sight tube.

Looked at TVR, Ford (Cossie, Mustang etc) MX5, Honda etc, so maybe its just check your fluids when you check all the others.

But hey, if it's a one off I don't mind  :gimme:

A sight tube can be added, it would be easiest in the form of two 90 degree 5mm tubes welded on the side and a piece of clear plastic tube connected between them.

I will be sorting the bracket out early next week, it should be exactly the same as the standard bottle with a retaining clio round it.

I'd be interested in one with the sight tube.

Expansion tank?

I have been thinking about something mini specific, but I'm not sure whether there would be a market for it? This is where I have fitted mine, running a front mount rad.

Righty, both Mk1 and mk2 washer bottles are all finished off. They are both a direct replacement for the standard bottles, using the original retaining brackets and the original hoses. Mk1 bottles are £45 and MK2 £65 to have the sight tube lugs put on it will be and additional £5. If we can get a group buy of 5 of these sold it will be £5 off and 10 or more £10 off each bottle.
