If it aint broke don't try to fix it. It takes 2 seconds to pop the bonnet and use the prop. Worked for 50 odd years no problems.
So tell me why would want to fit a gs strut at all?
i have a removable front on both cars so no inner wing to put stay onto on left hand side. sure i can put stay on brake servo but when working on the engine and you knock the stay it hurts when it whacks you on the head. the struts with vertical lift hinges make working on engine alot easier, lets face it we are in there alot! and always welcome products that are innovative
