Hi guys, its probably been asked before, i had a quick search but couldnt see. But where is the best place to get a stage 1 kit for my 998 from? They're all similar prices, but who's gives the best improvement?
(i know its hard because every engine is different!)

Cheers,

Tom

i got mine from minisport because it was on sale. don't do that though, it was an absolute b****rd to fit, pipes were all the wrong length etc, and i think they gave me the needle from the 1275 kit.

go minispares, they seem to be most peoples choice, and the twin box rc40 is supposed to give you the most power.

nah get the single box one. more noise!

unless you want to be reserved about it.

edit

oh and get a freeflow manifold not a LCB. not enought back pressure unless your full on tuning the engine.

I want a 2.25" centre exit stainless, that much i know, i was thinking about getting a 1275 head on it too. But for now, just want a decent stg1 kit!

So i want a single box for starters, and a freeflow manifold.

Whats the best make to go for?

there you go, service with a smile! :proud:

when i ordered my first parts off them which happened to be a 1098 head and a gasket set for it etc, the guys there HAND WROTE on the back of the head gasket packing, instructions, with diagrams and tip on fitting etc. somerfords level of customer service is unfortunatly, virtualy unheard of everywhere else.

they are great chaps, and the receptionist's nice too, or at least, she has a nice voice :w00t:
