I thought I would just post up a quick pic of one of my latest repairs, after a much needed break from the car I have got stuck back in with the welding.

Big thanks to Ben for some much needed advice and now I am getting the results...... A City & Guilds welding in Mig & Tig doesn't quite prepare you for welding thin rusty panels although it is good to have under your belt.

Plenty of Youtube videos to watch if you havent and a  New video being filmed as we speak welding lots of the rear end......

Great day yesterday at Stanford Hall and as steve220 would say

Thanks

Check out the latest video............ plenty of welding and repair work on some really awkward areas.

https://youtu.be/j3reY4BNcQ4

Subscribe - like - share - comment and anything else YouTube has to offer, it would mean a great deal, the videos are hard work filming and putting together whilst still trying to work on the car so it does help knowing people are watching them  :proud:

I am forever scrolling through and finding tips - tricks - and mainly looking for the style I will be going for on my build when the time comes...... keep up the builds everyone

Thanks Kevin

Good work, hopefully the new earth clamp fixes the welder issue.

Shouldn't be too hard to make up a new inner sill section, looks solid seat belt anchor back, so good starting point for welding in new section plus you dont have to worry about removing and reattaching the anchor point.

More progress on the RUSTY ROVER, the welding clamp certainly made a huge difference.

I have cut more away from the floor and found more rust on the ends of the crossmember......... not that I am surprised to be honest!
