ages and ages ago i drove off a kerb and smacked the gear selector and ever since its realy hard to select reverse and its a little stiff to change from 2 to 3 or 3 to 2. now its not really a problem as you can still change gear. just wondering what ive done and can i but a gear selector seperately and if so how much????

You may have smacked the tin plate on the bottom which if pushed up will drag on the bottom of the gear lever. the alternative is you've bent the rod.

Get under the car and have a good look is the answer..
