Hi all

Should there be an inner seal around the windscreen? Or just bare metal?

Could someone post a pic of how it looks?

Its a big rubber loop with 3 slots running round it

 

One slot fits over the frame, the other slot the glass goes into

 

3rd slot is for the beading which locks it all in place.

Thanks for the video. I thought I should have been able to see the rubber from inside the car but it wasn't there.

Yes you should.

Ah. Would I see any metal too? It may have been just the angle I was looking at the seal from.

Yes you can also see metal just like you can on the out side.

The only difference to the inside and outside of the seal is the filler piece on the outside.
