Someone has left a massive dent in my boot. I have asked a few dent removal firms if they can help and no one can. What can I do before I go to Mini and get a quote for a new boot lid panel?

Wrong forum you have signed up to a classic Mini forum.

Try Mini2 or total mini.

As mentioned we are a classic mini forum but some of our member do have both. Looking at the dent its creased as well as dented which may be the reason why they won't touch it.

Try a few more before going for a replacement.

Maybe try a car scrapyard / find a 'for parts car " on eBay in the Same colour and swap the boot?

You need a new boot.  Don't see why a normal bodyshop can't help you as that's their day to day job.

Replacement is the way forward.

I would expect that the labour to fix that lid well would exceed the cost of a replacement
