can anyone think of a reason why a engine in a metro engine should overheat, and water shoudl start bubbiling out of the radiator? it is not the head gasket. What happens is the engine temperature goes up to the red, but the engine isnt actually that hot, the radiator is boiling though.
urgent.

Also there is heat insulation in behidn the front grill. The radiator then site behind this, could it be possible that because the heat insulation is in the way the radiator cant breathe so easily and therefore causes it to heat up?????

could be the temp sensors's gone south. i mean if the engines not hot or boiling over thro the overflow pipe.

try swapping the temp sensor out. of just checking the connection.

anywhere in the water system, could be an air lock, which is a bubble of air stuck somewhere in the pipes.

How do you know it's not the head gasket? you could have a pressure leak into the water system. you need to go to a garge with a temp sensor, and maybe to a leakdown test too.
