Im trying to sort out the insurance for my sister on her first car. I would like a classic policy with agreed valuation for her. The issue im running up against is some insurance companies seem to say the driver being 20 is too young for classic policy, others are saying car must be 20 years plus. Last week I had some success with footman james who told me as its a mini they would be able to do classic policy even though its under 20 years old. My sister rang them today and was told the total opposite that she is too young to have classic policy and car is also to young?
Anyone been in this situation before and got any tips. It wasn’t this difficult a few years ago when I ensured my '73 1000 for the first time.
