Sorry if im sounding really daft i mean looking at the cap as bolted to the engine there the washers on the left side of the cap and the right i prised it up against one thrust then measured , then i prised it the opposite way to measure the other one and on one side i got 9 thou clearance then other i got 7 , i must be doing something completly wrong :/
Its weard that you have different clearances. Doing it that way should give the same clearance on both sides I'd think

And that's why I ignore the Factory Clearances for the Thrusts.
These Blocks just aren't machined all that accurate.
