Lower engine steady

I just need to check, as I look at my engine (from the front) is my lower engine steady on the left hand side of my transmission (the same side as the upper steady)???

I always presumed they'd be on opposite sides :S

what the arms. no their diffrent. the top one is twisted thro 90* degrees. the bottom one is parrele.

yep, thats what it looks like, (the bottom one), I just thought the lower steady was on the right hand side of the enging to stop it twisting....never mind now I konw...Cheers.
