Hey guys,

I saw a few people that are quite experienced with Mini Coopers on this website. I've got a R56 Mini cooper S 2007 model and I have one main issue with it which is this VERY loud rattle that comes from the engine. As I start the car now and rev the engine, the oil pressure light comes up and states that I should stop the car and get it checked out immediately. I was told it was the timing chain by a few mechanics however I stumbled upon someone who told me it could possibly be the tensioner or something like that. I live in Addlestone and I'll really appreciate any help I can get. Just to let you know that the car itself also has power loss as the system has detected that theres an issue in the engine thus cutting the power.

Thanks in advance!
