Hi guys

I am thinking of fitting a metro leccy dizzy to our 998, do I need to find one from a 998 or would one from a 1275 work?

Thanks in advance

David

There are none of that type (64DE4) set up for the 998 and while the 1275 one will allow the engine to run it doesn't work all that well with the 998 cam. It needs the advance curve in it tweaking a little. This can be done by specialists such as MLM or you can use the Aldon Ignitor or Luminition Magnetronic ignition kits in your standard dizzy, the later being based on the 64DE4 ignition pack anyway and so essentially giving you the same dizzy.

Thanks Dan

Would it work any better with an MG metro cam?
