hallo
Going to get some paint tomorow, so my uncle can paint my mini.
having it black
but ive been told theres different types of black
what should i ask for, i went in today, and the lady behind the counter reconed there off the shelf black was the same as if they mixed up a say ford black, but ive been told differently
so can someone shed some light on this ?
a friend in the past, has had the off the shelf stuff, and even after doing a PROPER job of the paint work, couldnt get a decent shine off it.
thanks for any help guys.

There are loads of different shades... each company has their own, all you have to do is look at the number that are on the racks in halfords or motor factors...
Which ever black you do get, make sure you get the mix code, then at least if you need to get some more you get the same colour.. ( it's sort of like a recipe )
