I think this was the first MCC magazine......I remember attending that first meeting mentioned below at the Cat Inn.
MCC Club Chairman - Ray Holman's Mini....he later re-shelled it into new Mk3 body, currently listed as SORNed, did he ever finish it?
The late Ray Towes (MCC Technical Advisor) Mini Cooper - also currently on SORN.

I have scanned and posted a 1982 MCC yearbook article below as Ray Holman's story about the beginnings of the MCC may be of interest to some. Interesting that the MCC peaked at about 2000 members (don't think it ever went much higher) and I believe 38 years later the MCR also has a similar membership figure?
Without the aid of a computer, email and the internet I imagine it must also have been a whole lot harder to start and run a one make car club......
