Does anyone have their projects insured? Me and r kid have a project on the go and he keeps saying we need to insure it.

How would I go about this? Or does anyone recommend any insurers? Thanks

I have laid up insurance with Peter James while I restore Paddy. Not expensive as it goes.

Bloody hell Neil that was quick. Out of interest how much? Guessing a Manchester postcode would be more expensive anyway

I think I pay £45 a year. Not sure where the docs are to be honest although probably in my pile of paperwork for Paddy.

Mine is laid up insurance, not road insurance.

I tried to get laid up insurance but it was quoted as more than my road insurance....so i just kept the road insurance going and its building up its own non-official no claims as a result (use my real no claims on my daily driver).
