I never liked the rubber mounted front subframe! more or less every MOT that I did on

a mini they were split and on this mini the inner wings were cracked ,  so  when restoring

this one I made a couple of 1.5mm Stainless plates up and glued/bolted them on to

spread the load, did sort of copy from another build thread on here??

My poly front ones deformed in a couple of months, the cush tubes just made oval holes in the poly. I think they are great everywhere else, no problems at all.
