Having a bit of a mess about with a fosters can. I like the look of the can and the gold goes with it. But may be do a desert rat nod to 'ice cold in Alex'and do a Carlsberg can instead. Rc40 in today. Took a bit of bending and cutting. Looks like it hangs low, but the body is quite high at the back. Whilst the missus is watching idiot island, thought I would knock one of these up to gauge the dimensions. Well pleased with the look. Time to order some foam and vinyl. Think I'll clad the rear in a thin sheet of alloy.

before going to far with that rear bobbin like that as when they fail they just do and the box hits the deck. have a look at this type you can get the rubber strip on their own as well so you can make your own. 

 

way stronger and dont fail as dramatically.

Great project! I think if it was my car I would have angled the silencer up to give a bit more clearance at the back - especially if you're going offroad.

Yes, did try to but there was no chance. It would have made the silencer stick down lower
