Just so happens the 2 different tape rolls have the perfect curve to draw the corners.

Well I bought a 'bargain' off eBay last week. Listed as 'serviceable' was told it just needed a clean!Attached File  20180628_142132_resized.jpg   38.16K   1 downloadsAttached File  20180628_142139_resized.jpg   49.22K   0 downloadsAttached File  20180628_142225_resized.jpg   46.05K   0 downloadsAttached File  20180628_142208_resized.jpg   81.2K   0 downloadsAttached File  20180628_142156_resized.jpg   64.35K   0 downloadsAttached File  20180628_142228_resized.jpg   35.26K   0 downloads
Suffice to say a PayPal claim is started.

I must be going nuts. Just so I can have the right shaped bezel for my afr gauge, the one out of my mini looks better suited. I have ripped out the old style aem afr gauge to put it in the desert rat. ( at least the mini is getting the new X type gauge. Unfortunately I had go take all the supercharger stuff out to get to the oxygen sensor (different wiring harness compared to the old one).Attached File  20180701_144613_resized.jpg   34.36K   0 downloadsAttached File  20180701_144608_resized.jpg   28.78K   0 downloadsAttached File  20180701_142806_resized.jpg   34.64K   1 downloadsAttached File  20180701_144716_resized.jpg   100.87K   3 downloadsAttached File  20180701_144720_resized.jpg   87.32K   2 downloads

Had to chop up a spanner to get to the sensor tucked away on the manifold. Checked the replacement cost beforehand.

Bit of a test spray of the bezel

That's a spare boost gauge by the way, not the finished item.

Whilst waiting for the PayPal situation with the seat belts, I decided to crack on and buy new ones.
So welding the rear mounts in was the first job.Attached File  20180704_114209_resized.jpg   53.75K   0 downloadsAttached File  20180704_114212_resized.jpg   31.97K   0 downloadsAttached File  20180704_114219_resized.jpg   65.05K   2 downloads

And the new belts are in. I like the look of willans, they seem less racey and more gentlemanly than other makes for some reason (perhaps as I only seem to see them on caterhams).

In the absence in availability of a non servo brake light switch bracket I had to modify a later type.
