Just put a stereo in and give it a bad ground loop so you hear the alternator whine through the speakers, that'll give you the same annoying whine that the drops will.  :D

 

It's not worth paying £250 for a noise that you're eventually going to hate imo..

Mine will also be for sale the next time the engine comes out. Foolishly I fitted SC drops after the old helical drops broke during a rally. But they had done 28 rallies so reliability was not an issue.
How anyone can like that horrible whining noise is beyond me.

Mine will be coming off as well as soon as I can find a reasonably priced replacement set of helical drops
