Hello...Ok, so the scenario is this. I had some overheating problems with the 998 Auto mini..Huge amounts of pressure in the radioator and steam and water from the overflow pipe...So....

New radiator
New water pump
New Rad Cap
New Thermostat
Replaced head gasket and skimmed cylinder heads

And still after a short drive the temp is almost up to the read...What more can i do......????

sounds like you've either got an air pocket in the head, or your head gaskets about to go bye bye again. Thankfully cooling is the same whether its manual or automatic.

Best thing i can think to do is disconnect the top radiator hose and remove the radiator cap, then flush the stem through untill the majority of the air is removed from the system.

Have you thought about reading your previous thread?!?

It was said that you perhaps shouldn't go back to your 'mini specialist' considering the amount they charged you for basically guessing at the problem. Theres also a number of other things that were suggested you check.

Hi i had the same problem with a V6 omega and it turn out to be that the heater matrix was block so water could not pass through it so it was pressurising and throwing water out of the header tank and getting hot so it might be worth you checking that?(your heater matrix might be blocked)
P.S have you hot air coming out of the heater in the car
