But it must be from an Mg Midget I guess, as it's too deep - the carbs don't clear the bulkhead, though I haven't tried it with smaller spaces and studs.

Angle between manifold face and the carb face should be 30 degrees for mini twin SU inlet manifold.
If it's 20 degrees then it's probably Midget or 1100/1300 manifold.

I'd say it was less then 22.5 degrees, but I've just offered up the smaller manifold, with a carb and the air filter held in roughly the right place. The clearance behind and under the carb seems to be OK.
I've got pancake filters to go on the carbs, I was thinking about putting a 15mm tank fitting on both and then connecting the crankcase breather here. Being that side of the butterfly means that the pressure shouldn't be too much, and I guess that must be something a bit like standard (with the breather attaching to the air box).
I'll drill and tap the manifold and use that purely for the brake servo.
