Hi

My carb is leaking fuel, firstly im going to change the gaskets to see if this solves the problem other wise ill just get a new carb. Can anyone tell me how i can tell what carb i have (1977 mini 1000) or how to find out. I was asked this when i went to order the gasket set? I thought they where all the same. Im still a bit of a learner when it gomes to getting my hands dirty.

Many thanks
Blakie

Its probably a HS4 carb om a 998. you can get a rebuild kit from burlen fuel for about 35quid and that will make the carb like new, i did mine a few months back and it makes the world of difference.

Float was fine, found a bipe leaking onto the carb which made it look like the carb :dontgetit:

Still want help to identify all the spec of the car. Is there a web page that can tell me this?
